The former Universal Champion Goldberg last wrestled at WWE Royal Rumble 2021 PPV, in which he was unsuccessful to dethrone then WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. From then, Goldberg wasn’t seen on WWE TV and now, it looks like WWE is planning to bring back him.
WWE fans are returning back from July 16th episode of Friday Night Smackdown and WWE also looking to bring back the top names like John Cena, Becky Lynch and more to make the shows even more successful.

Goldberg has a contract set for two matches per year through next year but plans can always change. Goldberg already had one match against Drew McIntyre and if he returns to challenge Bobby Lashley next week, then, it would be his second match of the year and it will be also for WWE Championship.
Currently, Almighty Bobby Lashley set to defend his WWE Championship against Kofi Kingston at upcoming Money In The Bank PPV on this Sunday infront of live fans.
