According to the Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE Talent Relations Executive John Laurinaitis informed Bray Wyatt about his WWE release. He also stated that budget cuts were the reason for his release from the company.
Meltzer also reported that Bray Wyatt was preparing for his return in August after four months away from WWE TV. He also even booked for some WWE Supershows.
Bray Wyatt’s last WWE appearance came at WrestleMania 37 Night Two, in which he lost to Randy Orton after Alexa Bliss turning on him. He later made a brief appearance on following episode of Monday Night Raw to address Alexa Bliss and wasn’t seen on WWE TV since then.
