The Qualifying matches for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match began on the May 29th edition of Monday Night Raw. Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura became the first and second qualified entrants by defeating The Miz and Bronson Reed, respectively.

On the June 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown, LA Knight then qualified for the MITB match by defeating Montez Ford. On the following weeks of SmackDown, Santos Escobar and Butch qualified by defeating Mustafa Ali and Baron Corbin, respectively.
On the June 12th edition of Monday Night Raw, Damian Priest defeated Matt Riddle in the final qualifying match. On the following week’s Raw, Logan Paul made his first appearance since Night 1 of WrestleMania 39—revealed that after talking with WWE executives, he would also be competing in the MITB match.
On tonight’s WWE Monday In The Bank 2023 event, Damian Priest outlasted other competitors and climbed the ladder to become the new Mr. Money In The Bank. At the closing moments of the match, LA Knight and Butch fight up top now. Butch bends fingers but Priest launches him off into a corner ladder.
LA Knight ends up taking out Damian Priest and others for a big pop. LA Knight climbs but Priest meet him up top. LA Knight grabs the briefcase but Priest stops him. Priest with a huge Broken Ladder from up top, sending LA Knight to the floor. Damian Priest climbs back up and grabs the briefcase for the win.
