Reason why Kurt Angle turned down the WWE return offer
Last week Kurt Angle returned to WWE NXT as a referee for a match between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher. But he didn’t return Full-time and he even rejected offer as a Matt Riddle’s manager.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Kurt Angle stated that his business is picking up. This made his WWE release easier to take.
“I’m working on my business, and I’ve been doing a lot of rehab on my body, trying to get myself back to where I’m able to live a healthy lifestyle. I’d been so banged up—my neck, my back, and my neck—but I’m making improvements. If I get to the point where I feel I can do it, then I’ll probably do it. But right now, I have to focus on my body.”
Angle has a business called Physically Fit Nutrition which he says is taking off. His #1 seller is a Chxn Snx and they sound delicious. In the end, Kurt Angle considers his WWE release a blessing in disguise.
“It was almost a blessing in disguise that WWE released me. The business started picking up orders, and we’re at a point where I really need to be here.”
Kurt Angle might stop by WWE every now and then, but it seems as though he has moved on. Hopefully, he finds a great niche in this new health food space. His past in athletics certainly helps him gain confidence with his consumers.
