WWE had bring back the old classic PPV to the NXT brand the Great American Bash. Total 5 Matches announced tonight event. 

Timothy Thatcher will compete in his first match after the cage match with Matt Riddle. Oney Lorcan, called out the Timothy Thatcher for the fight. Dexter Lumis and Roderick Strong will face off once again, but this time in NXT’s first-ever Strap Match. 

Rhea Ripley will take on both Aliyah and Robert Stone in a handicap match where, if Ripley loses, she must join the Robert Stone Brand. Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, Mia Yim, and Dakota Kai will compete in a fatal-four-way match to determine the #1 contender for Io Shirai’s NXT Women’s Championship.

Finally, NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai will take on one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Sasha Banks for the first time ever. 

Damian Priest at Backstage calls out the Cameron Grimes and challenges the one on one match and said that he gonna give the beating something he never forget.

At Backstage, Johnny Gargano while walking saw the Candice LeRae fighting with Mia Yim. He goes there and had words with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, who was there near. Shawn Michaels and a referee came and seperated the two.

Back to the ring, NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde came to the ring. They started to talk about the Lucha Legacy and how it’s tradition and culture ruling the ring. 

Drake Maverick interrupted them and headed towards the ring. Drake attacked Wilde and Mendoza but later they all beat him down. Here comes the Breezango – Tyler Breeze and Fandango, they cleared the ring and Maverick & Breezango stands tall in the ring. Fandango takes the mic and says there will be no place to hide next Wednesday night on Night Two of the Great American Bash. The Breezango music hits to end the segment.

Cameron Grimes at Backstage response to the earlier challenge from Damian Priest. Grimes says Priest must not understand it’s Grime Time and he’s going to the top. He goes on and says he will be the #1 contender to the winner of next week’s “Winner Takes All” main event, and he’s going right to the moon.
