Goldberg returns to WWE and won the Universal Championship at SuperShow Down after long gap. Then he lost Title to Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 36. But recently there were a rumor that he was contacted by AEW and also they had big plans for him.
He wasn’t seen in WWE after WrestleMania 36 but he is still under WWE contract. So, these confirms that he is not going anywhere.
Recently speaking with The Pop Culture Show, Goldberg revealed that he is still under WWE contract for two years.

“I am contracted with the WWE for the next two years through 2022… ’23? I’ve got two matches per year and I’ve exhausted my commitment quite early this year on April 5 with WrestleMania, under these really weird circumstances, but I’ve got some extremely interesting projects right on the cusp as you guys know in the entertainment business, right now everything is on hold. We’ve got a lot of cool things that people are going to find out about soon.”

“My WWE commitment is still going strong. I’m 53, I never would have imagined it, especially making fun of [Ric] Flair for doing it in his early forties.”
Goldberg still wanted the match against Roman Regins. But we have to see is it possible down the line. Actually they planned it for WrestleMania 36 but it didn’t happen due to pandemic. But it is a still big dream match for fans.
Goldberg didn’t confirm that he will be back in the ring but Vince McMahon can call him in next two years if he needs to boost ratings.
