Vince McMahon Changes Big Title Match For WWE Payback
WWE Payback was in this Sunday at WWE ThunderDome and they have packed the card already. But Vince McMahon had made one change at Payback.
On Raw WWE announced that Keith Lee is going to take on Randy Orton at Payback which was not expected by anyone. PW Insider reported that Vince McMahon had made several changes on Raw this week.
Tom Colohue revealed that original plan was to have WWE Title rematch between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton at WWE Payback. But Vince dropped the plans and booked the Keith Lee for a match with Orton.
“The show was always going to be chaotic because they desperately needed matches at Payback, and they hadn’t announced any because they had only planned about half the card out. That’s why they dropped McIntyre vs. Orton, which was supposed to be on that card and put Keith Lee in. That was Vince doing that.”
Keith Lee and Randy Orton already had a match on Raw this week which was ended in DQ by Drew McIntyre interference. Randy Orton also injured Drew McIntyre with three punt kicks on head which leads to Skull fracture and taken to hospital.
