John Morrison Revealed That He Had Talks With AEW Before Returning To WWE
WWE Superstar John Morrison recently returned to WWE after nine years away from the company, during which he worked for other promotions and continued his acting career.
Recently Morrison appeared on Chirs Van Vilet Show and revealed that he didn’t thought of being away from WWE for long time. His acting career take long time and later worked for other promotions.
He also revealed that he talked to AEW before his return to WWE. After his Contract with other promotions, he was trying to figure out where to go he added. Then had talks with both WWE & AEW and WWE offered him better contract.
“So when season four of Lucha ended, they have some stuff on their contracts where there’s a tail, and the tail doesn’t start until the episodes stop airing. So, I signed with Impact, and when everything was free and clear, I decided, ‘I’m a free agent again, completely free, no ties anywhere. I’m going to figure out where do I want to go?’ So, I talked to WWE and I talked to AEW, and I had a really good conversation with Vince, and they made me a really nice offer, and I ended up taking it,” (H/T: Wrestling Inc)
After returning to WWE, John Morrison teamed up with his former partner Miz and won the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. Now these duo continuing feud with Money in the Bank Contract Winner Otis and Tucker.
