Rusev Says Roman Reigns Did The Right Thing By Turning Heel
Roman Reigns finally turned heel after 5 years in the company. Vince McMahon was seen him as John Cena replacment but fans doesn’t want to see him that way.
Roman Reigns took time off due to pandemic for five months and returned at Summer Slam and joined with Paul Heyman and turned heel for the first time since his debut in the company.
Rusev recently on his YouTube channel discussed about Roman Reigns heel turn. He said that it was fantastic and man needs different challenges in his journey.
He compared himself and said that he felt tired while for being long time heel before start of Rusev Day. He said that he going to be the great heel and he got Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon so he will be fine.
“It’s fantastic. The man needs a different challenge. I felt that way after being a heel for so long – I literally got tired of it. There were no challenges. Even before ‘Rusev Day’ – even during ‘Rusev Day’, they had me working as a heel and I was so over. People need challenges, people need changes. Why wouldn’t he want to be a heel? People wanted him to be a heel forever now. I think it’s going to be really fun for him, I know he’s going to have a blast. He was a great heel and has always been a great dude and great worker and he gets it, so I think he’s got [Paul] Heyman and Vince [McMahon], so he’ll be fine. I think he did the right thing”
