Shawn Michaels Is Set For Next Week’s NXT Appearance

Next week’s NXT is going to be the go home edition for NXT TakeOver:31 and WWE is packing the show with significant segments and matches.

WWE also annouced that WWE Legend Shawn Michaels is set to appear for next week’s NXT. He will host the face to face segment between the Finn Balor and new #1 contender Kyle O’Reilly before their NXT Title match at TakeOver:31.

This week on NXT’s first-ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match, Kyle O’Reilly emerged as winner by defeating four other superstars – Kushida, Timothy Thatcher, Cameron Grimes and Bronson Reed, and became the new challenger for Finn Balor NXT Title at TakeOver on Oct, 4th on Sunday.

Finn Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly will go face to face just four days before their NXT Title showdown, and they’ll be joined by a WWE Hall of Famer. Shawn Michaels will host a face-to-face meeting between the NXT Champion and his next challenger Wednesday night ahead of their match on Sunday, Oct. 4, at NXT TakeOver 31. O’Reilly earned the right to take on Bálor after a gutsy performance in the first-ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match, going wire-to-wire and eliminating three competitors en route to the biggest victory of his career.
