– Tonight’s Smackdown opens with a graphic in memory of WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal, who passed away at the age of 60 on Wednesday.

– AJ Styles came out to the ring and followed by Sami Zyan. And last Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy came out. Corey Graves with the mic in the ring and said that Sunday will be “Winner Takes All Match” and also mentioned that there will be no Champion’s advantage.

AJ rants at Jeff and says he was cheated by Jeff to get that title and said I don’t why Sami is here after taking summer off to have fun and grow his neckbeard. Sami interrupts and says none of this happened if AJ didn’t participated in fraudulent tournament. Sami says how dangerous this ladder going to be but Jeff says shut up to Sami. Jeff continued that he and AJ are defending this title week after week and says let’s hang those titles high and he can beat Sami tonight and so the same at Sunday. 

Both attached their titles to the rafter and Corey says good luck for them. Sami suddenly takes a ladder and took out AJ and Jeff. He goes on and unloads on Jeff but AJ goes on Sami but he retreats to the floor. WWE producer Adam Pearce came out and added Jeff Hardy to the match. And Jeff took out AJ with Twist of Fate.

– Sami Zyan defeated AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy via Pinfall. After the match Sami celebrates in the ring but came in with ladder and took out both Sami and Jeff. He climbed the ladder and took the both titles and raised the titles.

– We see Heavy Machinery at Backstage, Otis had Money in the Bank Contract briefcase and Tucker holding the lawsuit papers served by The Miz and John Morrison. Graves said that Otis consulted a lawyer for advice.

– Kayla Braxton at backstage with Otis and Tucker. She asks Otis what decision he made after the lawsuit sent by the Miz. Otis says that her mom told him that there are three people you can’t trust – carnival clowns, 1% milk, and lawyers. Otis rants about lawyers and says they’re not going to steal his title. But Miz and Morrison interrupts and says lawyers are not going to steal anything but they’re trying to give a rightful Money in the Bank holder to WWE universe. Miz pokes at Otis how he sent Mandy Rose to Raw. Otis says here we don’t settle things with lawyers, so they can go in the ring to settle things. Otis attacks Miz and brawl continued and officials came out to seperate them.

– Jey Uso came out to the ring and says he hyped up. We see Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman watching it on TV at backstage. He says Corey Graves supposed to interview him but he can take night off. He showed us the win over Sheamus and Corbin in Samoan Street Fight and how he fumed after thier hug. 

He says people asked him about it all the week, look behind his back. Let’s ask Roman about it. Jey asks Roman what’s up with that look but Reigns didn’t coming out. Paul Heyman came out says Reigns believe that whole world wants to know what Reigns will say to his cousin but it only happens when Reigns wants it happen. And it will happen in the ring in face to face discussion tonight. 

– King Corbin defeated Matt Riddle via Pinfall. After the match, Kayla Braxton interviews Matt Riddle if he disappointed by his lose. He says lose doesn’t suck him but he is not going to let this stop him stallion. He came here to push himself and we will grind untill Smackdown become the Bro show. 

– Lacey Evans defeated Alexa Bliss by DQ. In the middle of match we saw the The Fiend Laughs and appearance of him on the big screen. Alexa Bliss still taking on Lacey and hits her with Sister Abilgle again and walks off. 

– Alexa Bliss walking through the ramp but Roman Reigns music hits and he came out with Paul Heyman. Roman raises his title on ramp and Alexa Bliss staring at the Roman Reigns. Bliss left and Roman walking towards the ring. Paul Heyman starts to talk but Jey Uso music hits and interrupts Heyman. 

Roman takes the mic and says Jey wants his side of story. Reigns says he would be honest to give his title to Jey if he could but Jey didn’t know what to do with this title. He says Jey didn’t understand accountability and responsibility on being top and don’t have the passion on being face to the WWE. It’s not Jey’s fault but he is twin and always depend upon his brother. He is one of the greatest greatest tag team champions in this generation and their family proud of him. 

Reigns says their families relies on him as being the “Tribal Cheif” and that’s not Jey and never will be. Roman drops the mic and walks off. Jey takes the mic and says what if Reigns wrong about him. At Sunday he will be the one beating Roman Reigns and becoming the new Universal Champion. Roman walks to backstage and Jey is waking towards entrance. And Roman from nowhere hits the Superman punch to Jey and yells at him and raises his title.
