– Candice LeRae win the #1 Contender Battle Royal Match and earned the NXT Women’s Title Match against Io Shirai at NXT Takeover.
– NXT North American Champion Damian Priest at Backstage with Sarah Schreiber. She asked him about his Takeover match with Johnny Gargano, he says that nobody is going to end his reign anytime soon. She also asked about his match with Austin Theory tonight, he says Theory bad luck continues and he will get him tonight.
– NXT Tag Team Champion Fandango at backstage with several Tag Teams. NXT General Manager William Regal came in and Fandango explains how they will determine #1 Contender for their Tag Team Titles. He says that they will someone from each team and winners will face eachother to determine their next opponents. Regal didn’t understand that and Danny Burch says it in UK speak in comedy way and he gets it.
– Tommaso Ciampa defeated Jake Atlas via Pinfall.
– Danny Burch & Roderick Strong defeated Raul Mendoza and Fabian Aichner via Pinfall.
– Sarah Schreiber at backstage with Austin Theory and asks about Damian Priest comments. Johnny Gargano interrupts praises Theroy and says he will get Damian Priest tonight.
– Damian Priest defeated Austin Theory via Pinfall. After the match Priest celebrates in the ring but Johnny Gargano attacked him from behind. He stands tall over him and mocks him.
– Ridge Holland defeated Antonio DeLuca via Pinfall.
– Sarah Schreiber at backstage with NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. She asks Shirai about her match with Candice LeRae at NXT Takeover. She spoke something in Japanese and English but Candice LeRae interrupts with Johnny Gargano. They mocks Io Shirai but Damian Priest attacked Gragano and lays him down.
– Kyle O’Reilly defeated Kushida, Cameron Grimes, Bronson Reed and Timothy Thatcher and became the new #1 Contender for Finn Balor NXT Title at NXT Takeover. After the match Kyle O’Reilly celebrates in the ring and Roderick Strong & Adam Cole joins them. Finn Balor came out with title on his shoulder and he points out Kyle O’Reilly and NXT goes off air.
