Current Biggest Superstars Who Never Competed Inside Hell In A Cell
Hell In a Cell is one of the greatest gimmick matches in WWE, in which Superstars locked inside a 24-feet high roofed cell structure surrounding the ring and ringside area. There will be no disqualification, count out and only way to win is via Pinfall or Submission inside the ring.
The first Hell In A Cell match took place at Badd Blood in 1997, between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels came out of victorious in that Bloody Match with the interference of Kane. And then, many WWE Legends has been a part of this Hell In A Cell.
Let’s look at the list of five current active WWE Superstars who never competed inside Hell In A Cell match.
5. Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston has been part of WWE over a decade and became more famous by forming New Day faction six years ago. It’s the one of the biggest and successfull faction in WWE. Kofi have won Tag Team Titles with his partners Xavier Woods and Big E. He also won the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35 by defeating Daniel Bryan.
Kofi successfully held WWE Title for six months in WWE and defended his title in every PPV. And his reign ended by Brock Lesnar in short match on Smackdown. But Kofi Kingston didn’t had any match inside Hell In A Cell. The New Day once had an match with The Usos in a Hell In A Cell match for Smackdown Tag Team Titles in 2017 but Kofi Kingston isn’t part of the match.
4. The Miz
The Miz has been with WWE over 16 years and had many feuds with to superstars in WWE. But his feuds didn’t lead into any Hell In A Cell match. He had won WWE Title once, held US Title & Intercontinental Title multiple times in WWE and won the Money in the Bank Contract once
Miz won WWE Title by cashing in Money in the Bank briefcase on Randy Orton on Raw episode. At WrestleMania 27, The Miz main evented the show and successfully defended WWE Title against John Cena with interference of The Rock. He is the one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions in WWE history.
3. Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley is one of the dominant Superstars in WWE but he didn’t get a chance to compete inside Hell In A Cell. During his run in 2005-2006, he is the one of the fastest rising Superstars in Smackdown. He got attention when he represented Donald Trump in “Batte of the Billionaires” against Mr. McMahon’s clinet, Umaga at WrestleMania 23.
Lashley left WWE in 2007 and returned to WWE after 11 years. He then had feud with Rusev for taking Lana but that angle was flopped. Now, he joined with MVP and formed Hurt Business faction. They recruited Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander to their Stable and became more dominant stable in WWE.
2. AJ Styles
AJ Styles made his debut in WWE four years back at Royal Rumble PPV and became the top Superstar in short time. He had very great feuds in WWE, his feud with John Cena is one the worth watching in WWE.
He had feuds against Roman Reigns, John Cena, Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon and more but none of them lead to a Hell In A Cell match for him. Styles is currently top superstar in WWE, he held WWE Titles two times and had epic match with Undertaker at WrestleMania 36
1. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre is one of the top competitor for Hell In A Cell match. His is ruthless and more aggressive superstar in WWE but never competed in Hell In A Cell match. McIntyre was first introduced in 2009 by Vince McMahon as future world champion but it didn’t went well in his way. Later he moved as enchantment talent status and then parted ways with WWE in 2014.
Drew Mcintyre, later returned to NXT in 2017 and promoted to main roster next year. He had big match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35, but ended in losing effort. In early 2020, McIntyre won the Royal Rumble PPV and defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to win the WWE Title. He is currently feuding with Randy Orton and finally going to have a Hell In A Cell match against Orton.
