Paul Heyman Says “There Is A Lot On Line, Not Just Universal Title” For Roman Reigns
After winning Universal Title, Roman is in search of opponents to defend his title. Jey Uso got opportunity in place of Big E, who got injured by Sheamus, in #1 Contender match and surprisingly he won the match.
Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso isn’t the Title Feud everyone expected and fans didn’t expect to see it. But it suddenly turns out be an interesting family fued and caught everyone’s eye. This personal family feud became intense at WWE Clash of Champions main event and showed brutal side of Reigns.
Jey Uso himself revealed that it’s supposed to be one match off but due to its immense response, WWE booked another match between these two cousins at Hell In A Cell PPV. It also going to be a first ever “I Quit” match inside Hell In A Cell.
Paul Heyman recently had an interview with Metro.uk to promote the Hell In A Cell PPV and discussed about Roman Reigns. He also revealed how long they have planned to pairing him with Roman Reigns.
During the interview, he also revealed the importance of the match and explained significance of the match. He said that one man has to gave up his goals of being biggest WWE superstar for others to stop the match.
“One man has to forfeit his claim to be better than the other. One man has to forfeit his goals of being the single biggest star in WWE, the Universal Champion.”
Heyman also stated that there is lot more on the line than Universal Title for Roman Reigns.
“One man has to forfeit his privilege of even attempting to claim to be the head of the family. So there is a lot on the line, it’s not just the Universal Title.”
It’s expected that Roman Reigns is going to retain his Universal Title at Hell In A Cell PPV. It’s just to show how brutal was Reigns as heel in the company. It’s also reported that Roman Reigns is going to lead the Faction when Jimmy Uso return to the WWE.
