Randy Orton “Wasn’t Really Trying” Before His Feud With Edge Says Drew McIntyre

The Viper Randy Orton had a spectacular year, he had great feud with his former friend Rated R Superstar Edge. Then he started his feud with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and bought back his “Legend Killer” gimmick, took out various legends from past few months.
At Hell In A Cell PPV, Randy Orton once again challenged Drew McIntyre for WWE Title inside Hell In A Cell structure, which will take place on this Sunday. Before the match Drew McIntyre claimed that Randy Orton isn’t trying in WWE before return of Edge.
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently appeared as guest on Busted Open Radio. During the interview, he discussed many topics, including about his Hell In A Cell opponent Randy Orton.
He said that Randy Orton is best in the world and had naturally gifted talent. But he turned his gear only around time Edge came back. He is incredibly motivated and stealing the show every week, that took me to next level.

“I mean, you got to be on your game in every possible way to try to keep up with someone like Randy Orton. I mean, in general, in the past he wasn’t really trying. He was just so naturally gifted. He was one of the best in the world, but I don’t know when it was, but I think it was around the time Edge came back. He suddenly found his next gear. He was so incredibly motivated and wanted to give it all to his promos, his in-ring game. He wants to go out there and he wants to steal the show every single week and it’s a Randy I’ve never seen before. It motivates me personally, because I know, ‘Okay, I got to step up to his level.'” (H/T WrestlingInc)
