Randy Orton’s Opponent For WrestleMania 37 Possibly Revealed

At Hell In A Cell 2020 PPV main event, Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre inside Hell In A Cell to win the WWE Championship. This was a incredible match between these top superstars and gave everything they had. 
During the match they both climbed the top of the cell and Orton struck Drew with Steel Pipe. While, Climbing down the ladder, Orton sent McIntyre through the announcers table from the top the cell. At the end of the match, Randy Orton dodged Claymore and hit RKO to McIntyre for the win.

After the Hell In A Cell PPV, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio gave an update about possible plans for Randy Orton. He said that after winning the WWE Title by Randy Orton, WWE is possible buliding towards Randy Orton vs. Edge at WrestleMania 37.

Meltzer also shared his thoughts on Randy Orton winning the WWE Title.

Orton’s been great. I think Orton as a short-time champion right now can be great but you can’t build this thing around Randy Orton. It’s a step backwards and they may be doing that because they take a lot of steps backwards. (H/T: Sportskeeda Wrestling)



Randy Orton vs. Edge going to be the one the marquee matches. After Edge returned at WWE Royal Rumble PPV, he engaged in feud with Randy Orton. At WrestleMania 36, Edge defeated Randy Orton in Last Man Standing Match. And in rematch at WWE BackLash, Randy Orton defeated Edge. Currently, Edge is out of action due to Injury occurred at BackLash.
