WWE Superstar Ember Moon made her return to NXT at Takeover 31 after long time as a mystery person being advertised in NXT.

Ember had a successful run in NXT and after she losing her NXT Women’s Championship to Shayna Baszler, she had moved to Main Roster and debuted to Raw with many expectations. But she didn’t have successfull run in the main roster. 

She was barely used in first year of her main roster run. After that she had some feuds and also challenged for the Smackdown Women’s Title at Summer Slam in 2018. Before she was injuring, she had series of losses in WWE. 

Then she was injury and revealed that she was expected to be sidelined for a year or more. Even on WWE Backstage, she admitted that she was out of action indefinitely and even doubt on her future in Wrestling. 

But she recovered from her Injury and at NXT Takeover 31, she made her return by revealing herself as a mystery person in NXT. She returned on motorcycle, after Io Shirai successfully defending her NXT Women’s Champion and set her eyes on the Title.

After the show, Triple H on post NXT Takeover Conference Call revealed that WWE had planning a move for Ember Moon back to NXT even before her Injury(via Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com).
