Vince McMahon Is A “Genius For A Reason” Says Jey Uso
The storyline between the Tribal Cheif Roman Reigns and Jey Uso got huge response in WWE. The feud between the cousins showed the real emotions and fans connected more to it, that leads a another match between them at Hell In A Cell PPV.
Jey Uso recently appeared as guest on the Gorilla Position podcast and discussed about his rivalry with his cousin Roman Reigns. He said that he never thought of this storyline with his cousin Roman and no one thought how good it is.
“I never saw me in an angle with my cousin. Nobody saw how good it would get. That’s why I’m fighting him in Hell in the Cell again for the Universal Championship. If it feels real to me, it is going to feel real to the people.”
He also revealed that it was pretty sure Vince McMahon put that idea, he is genius for a reason and as it was working.
“That old man (Vince McMahon) is a genius for a reason. I’m pretty sure he put that idea out there and his team was like, eh. It is working.” (H/T: WrestlingNews)
Roman Reigns returned at Summer Slam and turned heel for first time in WWE, he also shocked everyone by pairing up with Paul Heyman. After winning the Universal title by defeating The Fiend and Braun Strowman, he got his cousin Jey Uso as first challenger.
They two first faced eachother at WWE Clash of Champions where Jey lost the match and then he got another opportunity to face his cousin once again at Hell In A Cell PPV.
