Murphy Revealed That Paul Heyman Played A Major Role In His Career

WWE Superstar Murphy started as tag team wrestler in NXT and later he joined in 205 Live, where he got some lame light. He also won the Cruiserweight Championship in 205 Live and then he moved to main roster.
After joining in main roster, he was used in mid-card and had done nothing significant on Smackdown until Raw Executive Director, Paul Heyman wanted him on Monday Night Raw.
Murphy recently appeared on Corey Graves After The Bell podcast and revealed that Paul Heyman played a prominent role in his career.
Murphy said that he gave two best matches against Bryan and Ali but went off TV after that. The Paul Heyman wanted on him Raw and pulled him aside and said some kind words. Then he moved from Smackdown to Raw last year.
”I wrestled Bryan the week after that and killed that. I wrestled Ali the week after that and killed that. Then I was off TV and I’m wondering, what’s going on. I feel like I gave two of the best matches of the year back to back and then I’m not seen again. Then Paul Heyman wanted me on Raw and much respect to Paul. He pulled me aside and he said some real kind words to me. He wanted me to come to Raw and asked if there was anything holding me to SmackDown. I said I want to put my best foot forward. Murphy had cemented his place in WWE after working with Seth Rollins as his disciple. They had long storyline with Rey Mysterio’s family and also involved in romantic storyline with Aalyah Mysterio.
Murphy recently turned face after helping Rey Mysterio to pick victory against Seth Rollins and officially joined with Rey Mysterio’s family. He recently revealed that he wants to chase the Intercontinental Championship which was held by Sami Zyan.
