Possible Opponent For Roman Reigns At WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Reportedly Revealed

This week on Smackdown, Kevin Owens faced Jey Uso in main event and took down Jey Uso with steel chair. He aslo called out Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the fight after the assualt.
On Talking Smack, The Prize Fighter also sent a big warning to Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. It seems that Kevin Owens would challenge Roman Reigns for Universal Title at upcoming TLC PPV. After the TLC, WWE seems to already have another challenger for Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble PPV.
Dave Meltzer on latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, talked about the Roman Reigns plans for Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Meltzer discussed about the match ending of Daniel Bryan and Sami Zyan. He said that by attack of Jey Uso on Daniel Bryan, it seems that WWE is shaping up the things for Daniel Bryan to face Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble PPV.
They did that finish and Daniel Bryan’s the guy who’s at least for right now scheduled to face Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble.
Dave Meltzer also stated that Daniel Bryan also have a call on this program because he has control on his creative and everything that he is doing. Previoulsy, couple of years ago, WWE planned the Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan program but it was not ended that way by bringing Erik Rowan into that program. So, Meltzer felt that this could likely may happen again.
The one thing is that, when it comes to Daniel Bryan, a lot of what happens with him is his own doing because he’s on creative and everything. And he’s, I’m sure, very much thinking how he wants it done but, then again, this has happened before too. I mean, there were periods there a couple of years ago when they were going to do the big Roman Reigns-Daniel Bryan program that they never got to. I mean, it just never ended up that way. The Leader of Yes Movement Daniel Bryan faced Sami Zyan on last week’s Smackdown. The IC Champion got the victory over Bryan by Count Out after Jey Uso attacking Daniel Bryan at backstage. So, it looks like the former WWE Champion would like to face Jey Uso at TLC before facing Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble 2020 PPV.
