Reason For Taking Away MITB Briefcase From Otis Reportedly Revealed

Welcome to Sports Arenaa WWE News!!!!!!!!!!
Recently at Hell In A Cell PPV Otis lost his Money in the Bank Contract to The Miz and it was the first time MITB changes hands in singles competition.
Dave Meltzer on his latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter explained the possible reason of Otis losing MITB briefcase to The Miz.
Dave Meltzer noted that there is booking issue with Otis hold the MITB briefcase. It would work if a heel blow out his chance of losing his cash-in opportunity or it would even work on established stars like John Cena to fail cash-in. But booking a babyface to lose his cash-in would be disastrous.

If Otis cashing-in on Roman Reigns to win the title would make him an massive star but WWE didn’t have any plans to take title away from the Roman Reigns. If Otis failed to cash-in on Roman Reigns would effect his immediate future, so they have taken title from him.

Dave Meltzer stated that Tucker turning on Otis while cashing-in on Roman Reigns would have been more powerful but found the different way.

The other major storyline was The Miz winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, beating Otis, when Tucker turned on Otis. The reality is that the briefcase on Otis had a booking problem. It’s okay for a heel to be embarrassed to blow the nearly automatic title win, or a face like John Cena who is established. But Otis failing, especially with Reigns as champion, does him no good and while he could beat Reigns and they could make a star, nothing they do right now indicates that direction. Tucker turning on him against Reigns would have been more powerful, but this was a different way to do it.

At Hell In A Cell PPV, Tucker turned on Otis which leads to losing his MITB Contract to The Miz. And everyone expected that next Otis could feud with Tucker but both are in different brands, it may not be possible. So, let’s see how WWE is going to book him in future.
