The Miz won the battle royal by eliminating Dominik. Big E did appeared on the show along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for their match against Street Profits.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Big E was probably removed form Battle Royal at pre-show to save special entrance for him along with New Day in Gears of War inspired attires.
Meltzer also noted that WWE is planning to push Big E and Lars Sullivan and they wanted to protect them instead of competing in pre-show of the event. This could also the reason why they weren’t the part of Team Smackdown for Survivor Series as they planned Raw to get the clean sweep. So, that Lars Sullivan and Big E didn’t look weak.
It seems that WWE is planning big program for them in upcoming shows on blue brand. Soon, we can see both the superstars either challenge IC Champion Sami Zyan or Universal Champion Roman Reigns. WWE also had plans of changing name for Lars Sullivan to “The Freak” in future.
