WWE Superstar Otis is actually won the Money In The Bank Briefcase at the pay-per-view. Otis lost his MITB Contract to The Miz at Hell In A Cell PPV after Tucker turned on his best friend Otis.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter discussed about The Miz winning Money In The Bank Briefcase and revealed why WWE had decided to put the contract on The Miz.
Meltzer stated that WWE had put it on Miz because they needed a guy who could not cash-in this year. WWE was buliding both the champions as strong and they don’t want anyone to lose the title now and they see The Miz as one who can hold the title for long time.
He better not cash-in because that would be… you know, I think it’s on him because they needed a guy who could not cash it in this year, you know, because the whole idea is they’re going to strong with Randy Orton or Drew and Roman Reigns probably isn’t losing the title any time soon but who knows because Roman Reigns with a long title run was not the idea, believe it or not. Even though it seems so obvious it was not the idea. I don’t know what the… I have no idea who’s the guy who was supposed to be the champion because they’ve basically devalued everybody else. This week on Raw, The Miz teased cash-in on either Randy Orton or Drew McIntyre on main event but it didn’t happen and even tried to rope in Bray Wyatt to his side. Drew McIntyre won the WWE Title by defeating Randy Orton and became the two time WWE Champion.
