Rey Mysterio Revealed His Retirement Plans

WWE veteran Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio recently appeared as special guests on Lilian Garcia’s podcast on WWE Network. During the interview, Rey Mysterio spoke about his retirement plans and revealed that he didn’t see himself wrestling past 50.
“I’ll be 45 in December. And I don’t see myself going past 50, that’s for sure. My body feels great right now. I’ve been doing new methods of therapy – STEM cells, hyperbaric chambers, cryo chambers, CBD’s, you know, a lot of things that benefit me. I think that has given me more longevity.”
Rey Mysterio had wrestled in several promotions in his 30 year long career and had multiple runs in WWE. During the interview, he was asked about if he wants will retire in WWE and Rey said that definitely yes.
“Definitely, yes,” he replied on if he wants to retire in WWE. “Once you enter here, you can’t go any higher than this. This is where I’ve always envisioned myself finishing my career.” (H/T: WrestlingInc)

Rey Mysterio was involved in feud with Seth Rollins and it became personal after his family involvement. Rey’s son Dominik Mysterio also made his in-ring debut at Summer Slam and his daughter Aalyah Mysterio also involved in storyline with Murphy. Later they all moved to Smackdown and this storyline is continuing on blue brand and let’s see how it turns in future.
