WWE Superstar Chad Gable recently stated that he no longer called a “Shorty G” and returned to his previous wrestling name Gable. WWE have used Shorty G gimmick to gave him a push but it didn’t worked out. Still several people backing Chad Gable for more opportunities including Vince McMahon.

According to the reports from WrestlingNews.co, people close to creative process believes that Vince McMahon is still confident about Chad Gable and admires his accomplishments in pro wrestling. Not only Vince, Daniel Bryan also reportedly backing the Chad Gable and wants him to succeed in the company.

According to this report, Shorty G gimmick was gaven to Gable to help him to improve as WWE Superstar but later it turned as comedy act. McMahon also felt like Gable’s character might missing something like Kurt Angle character.

Many believes that Chad Gable’s size may prevent him to becoming the star like Kurt Angle in WWE. But now, major support from Daniel Bryan and Chairman Vince McMahon, Gable still had big chances to succeed in the company.
