WWE NXT is live from Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. And Vic Joseph welcomes us and joined by Wade Barrett and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix.
Here The Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– Johnny Gargano opens the show and he had “wheel of challengers”, it has names include former NXT Champion Damian Priest, Roderick Strong, Pete Dunne, Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Tommaso Ciampa, NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, Adam Cole, The Velveteen Dream, Kyle O’Reilly, Kushida, and Timothy Thatcher. Austin Theory’s name was on there earlier but has been removed and Leon Ruff name written on it. Johnny Gargano spins the wheel and it lands on Leon Ruff and he calls out him.
– Leon Ruff defeated Johnny Gargano via Pinfall and became New NXT North American Champion. During the match, Damian Priest distracted Johnny Gargano and Ruff took the advantage and rolls up for the pin.
– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with New NXT Champion Leon Ruff, Damian Priest and NXT General Manager William Regal. Priest says Johnny will came out here anytime to attack Ruff and gave his keys to Ruff to find his black challenger and get out of here. Then Johnny came in and both Priest and Johnny is arguing.
– Santos Escobar defeated Jake Atlas via Pinfall and retained his NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
– Shotzi Blackheart cuts a promo about Candice LeRae for destroying her mini tank last week and says he is going to destroy LeRae.
– Raquel Gonzalez in the ring for a match against Xia Li but Boa came out instead of Li. He said that Li is not here and match is not going to takes place and apologized her. But Raquel Gonzalez says Li calls for this match and she is unhappy and attacked Boa. After that, a Mystery Man came out handed Boa a letter and left the ring.
– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage interviewing August Grey but suddenly Timothy Thatcher attacked Grey and launches Grey on Dexter Lumis. The Dexter turned around to Timothy but William Regal stops them.
– Candice LeRae defeated Toni Strom via Pinfall. After the match, Strom attacked LeRae but a mystery mask person came in for the save. Then Shotzi Blackheart came out to attack them. LeRae and masked person took out them and masked person revealed herself as Indi Hartwell.
– Timothy Thatcher defeated Dexter Lumis via Pinfall. During the match, Cameron Grimes appears and distracted Lumis. Thatcher took the advantage and down into a Crucifix for pin. After the match, Cameron Grimes attacked Dexter Lumis.
– McKenzie walks up to Johnny Gargano at Backstage infront of William Regal’s office. Regal came out and Gargano asks for rematch aganist new NXT Champion but Regal says there is no reason for rematch and it was Gargano’ s decision.
– Tommaso Ciampa cuts a promo somewhere at the Backstage.
– Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeated Breezango via Pinfall and retained their NXT Tag Team Titles. During the match, Pat McAfee tried to distract referee but Drake Maverick came out to help Breezango. Then Pete Dunne came to took out Drake Maverick and Pat McAfee distracted referee, then Burch pinned Fandango to retain the titles. After the match, Pat McAfee attacked Drake Maverick and Tyler Breeze.
