WWE Possibly Planning Three-Way Program For Randy Orton’s WWE Championship
Welcome to Sports Arenaa WWE News!!!!!!!!!
The Viper Randy Orton won the WWE Championship by defeating Drew McIntyre at Hell In A Cell pay-per-view and what’s WWE planning next for him.
On Raw, Drew McIntyre stated that he would do anything to recapture his title. But it also seems that The Fiend Bray Wyatt also put his eyes on the Randy Orton’s WWE Title.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculated that WWE is planning a Three-Way program for WWE Title involving Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre and The Fiend.
He noted that the idea is to keep Drew McIntyre away from the Randy Orton, so that he couldn’t continuosly challenge Orton for title and end in losing side. WWE also storing this big match between teh Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre to happen when the fans returns to the arena.
Randy Orton getting a clean win over Mcintyre can tell a story that Drew McIntyre already has two wins over Randy. Meltzer also stated that if McIntyre retained and got into the feud with Bray Wyatt would hurt his babyface momentum.
Right now it appears Raw will be built around a three-way program with Orton, McIntyre and The Fiend. The idea of keeping McIntyre away from Orton so he doesn’t continually challenge and fail, which wouldn’t be good for him right now, and build to a big match when fans are back makes all the sense in the world. Except, we don’t know when fans will be back. Orton getting a clean win with no storyline protection for McIntyre can tell a story, since McIntyre had two wins over him and Keith Lee has one (that was never mentioned on television and has been seemingly forgotten). It’s not necessarily a bad idea, and had McIntyre retained and worked with The Fiend, that’s a risk given the way Fiend is very difficult to babyface against without dragging one down badly.
The 14-time World Champion also have another threat from the Mr. Money in the Bank The Miz along with The Fiend and Drew McIntyre.
