On Friday Night Smackdown, Big E faced Intercontinental Champion Sami Zyan in non-title match, in which Big E lost the match via count out. After the show, Big E appeared as special guest on Talking Smack and Paul Heyman, co-host of the show, gave some big advice to former New Day member.

Heyman said that it’s the time Big E is waiting for and he has to be more focused. Big E has more potential to achieve everything in WWE and what he is going to accomplish in next 10 years will be mind-boggling and everyone is looking for it. Paul Heyman also said that New Day will be a footnote in story of greatness of the Big E.
“It’s about damn time. This is the Big E we have all been waiting for. This Big E, the focused Big E. The singles championship-minded Big E has so much potential that 10 years from now, as your story is being written, they will all say that the accomplishments that you did with the New Day will pale by respectful in comparison to the accomplishments you will pull off on your own, and I say that to you with the following proviso: what you are going to accomplish in the next 10 years will be mind-boggling, sir and I’m looking forward to seeing [it], as is everybody else. But you have to accept in your heart that the New Day will only be a footnote in the story of the greatness of Big E. And if I may prove my case to you, I ask you a rhetorical question. When was the time you saw Roman Reigns in the ring and anyone even bothered to mention the Shield?”

Big E was recently split up with New Day by WWE and wants him as singles superstar and set for big push. The former Intercontinental superstar Big E has lot of potential to become the top superstar in the company and hopes Paul Heyman encouragement speech will help Big E to achieve more in WWE.
