Following Monday Night Raw this week, Drew McIntyre appeared on Raw Talk hosted by Charly Caruso and R-Truth. During the show WWE Champion Drew McIntyre talked about his TLC opponent AJ Styles and revealed that he wanted to face him since he was 16.
You know a lot of fans are buzzing about this match because we’re facing each other for the first time ever. I’ve wanted this match since I was 16. I’ve been waiting for a long time. (H/T: WrestlingInc)
Drew McIntyre also said that they were on different companies in past, when he was in WWE AJ Styles was in different company and when he was in WWE, he wasn’t here. When they both in WWE, he was on Raw and Styles was moved to Smackdown. Now, finally they got chance to face eachother.
Over the years, we kept passing each other like ships in the night. When AJ was in a different company, I was in WWE. When he came here, I wasn’t here. But when I came to RAW, he moved to SmackDown. Now, finally, we’re in the same place.
Mcintyre also stated that Styles might have little advantage on match because of his experience in ladder matches and tall man Omos in his corner. Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles will face eachother in Tables, Ladders and Chairs match with WWE title on line at TLC PPV.
