The former Universal Champion Goldberg recently had an interview with Bleacher Report and spoke about his impactful WCW run. He highly praises “The Icon” Sting for his success.
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg said that Sting is WCW and that promotion is Sting. He also mentioned that he learned everything from his fellow Hall of Famer Sting and he is the integral part of becoming professional wrestler.
“Sting is WCW. Period, end of story. People want to say it was me for a period of time, but he just handed the reins to me for a little bit. Sting is that promotion. That promotion is Sting. Everything I learned, I learned from him. He was an integral part of my process becoming a professional wrestler. I wouldn’t have done it without him.”
The Sting, recently made his debut for AEW promotion in “Winter is Coming’ edition and also revealed that he had signed multi-year contract with that promotion.

The Two-Time Universal Champion Goldberg last wrestled at WrestleMania 36, in which he lost his Universal Title to Braun Strowman. In his recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, he teased his return and said that he’s coming for current Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
