Reported TLC Plans For Asuka And Lana Revealed

From the past month, Lana has been putting through announcers table by Nia Jax. The last few weeks things have been changed for Lana, she became the sole Survior in traditional women’s 5-on-5 elimination match.
She also got the WWE Title shot on Raw, which was ended in no contest after interference of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. She also teamed up with Asuka and got two straight wins against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio reported that WWE had plans of Lana and Asuka to challenge Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for titles at TLC pay-per-view. After getting back to back wins on the champions, it seems that they were the potential challengers for the champions for upcoming PPV.
“As of right now, the idea is that the title match will be on the pay-per-view” (H/T: WrestlingNews).
Everyone thought that putting Lana through table every week by Nia Jax was to bury her but WWE plans that angle to get sympathy on her and plans to push her as babyface. Lana’s table streak ended on last week’s Raw and she even saved WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka from Nia Jox, who tries to put her through table.
It was speculated that WWE may be planning tables match for WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles match, maybe that’s the reason why Lana has been put through the announcers table for straight weeks.
