Tommy Dreamer Revealed That He Was Supposed To Have Feud With Triple H

On the latest edition of Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore podcast, Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz appeared as special guest and discussed about numerous topics regarding his IMPACT Wrestling career. Tommy Dreamer also talked about his time in WWE and revealed that he supposed to have feud with Triple H.
Dreamer said that for long time, wrestlers from ECW were considered as dangerous in industry for there extreme style of wrestling. However, their opinion has changed after a while and considered as good in-ring wrestlers.
He also revealed that he was supposed to have program with The Game Triple H but it was cancelled after Bubba Ray Dudley injuring Triple H.
“For the longest time, ECW guys were considered dangerous within the industry. When the bubble burst and they thought we were all in WWE, we were all like these crazy people. Meanwhile, most of us were all really good wrestlers. I was supposed to go into a program with Triple H, and Bubba injured Hunter and there went my push.” (H/T: WrestlingNews.co)

Tommy Dreamer joined in WWE in 2001 and spend nine years in the company until his release in 2010. He returned to WWE in 2012 for a one-off appearance and he also made another appearance in 2016 to accompany with The Dudley Boyz during their feud against The Wyatt Family.
