This week on Raw, Lana got the huge victory over Nia Jax and after the match WWE Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler attacked Lana targeting her leg. Asuka came out to save her but damage already has been done.
After the attack, Lana was taken to local medical facility in an ambulance, later on that night, it was announced that Lana was removed from the TLC pay-per-view due to injuries and will be replaced by another superstar for Tag Team Titles match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
According to the reports from PWInsider, Lana is expected to be out of WWE TV for several weeks, possibly four weeks. There was also some buzz that WWE planning to bring back The Queen Charlotte Flair to replace Lana at TLC PPV on Sunday. But, it was not yet confirmed by PWInsider.
The talk coming out of Raw is that Lana was expected to be off TV for the next several weeks, possibly as long as 3-4 weeks. There was some buzz last night that perhaps this was an angle to bring Charlotte Flair back on Sunday, but PWInsider.com has not yet confirmed that to be the plan.
Charlotte Flair was off to WWE TV after backstage attack by Nia Jax on June 22nd episode of Raw and now, Asuka needs a partner for her match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. So, it would be an ideal choice to replace Lana with Charlotte Flair at WWE TLC pay-per-view.
