Tonight’s NXT is live from Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida and Vic Joseph welcomes us and joined by Wade Barrett at ringside. WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix also joined them remotely.
Here The Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor opened the show tonight and says NXT WarGames is done and time for team spirit of over and Champ is here. He says that some loves him and some hates him but if you wants to know more about him, come to see him in the ring.
Then Pete Dunne came out and says they both are alike as they from overseas and made name here and it’s matter of time for him to take title from Balor. Then music interrupts and Kyle O’Reilly came out. Kyle O’Reilly apologizes for his being late and says Pete is tough but he left as the winner.
O’Reilly also brings up about his match at NXT: Takeover 31 and says Finn may won the match but from past two months he is eating throw straw. He and Finn had some unfinished business but Damian Priest interrupts him. Priest says he is looking for this for a while and Priest vs. Finn would be the marquee match.
Priest and Pete Dunne traded some shots and Finn Balor left the ring. Finn says he will defend his NXT Title at New Year’s Evil on January 6th and it’s upto NXT General Manager William Regal to determine his opponent. Then Scarlett Bordeaux interrupts him and stares at Finn. Balor says if Karrion Kross is ready the he is ready and walks off.
Damian Priest asks Scarlett she usually asks Kross to wait in the car to handle his business. If Kross wants to pick a fight then he can step towards Priest like a man. Then Scarlett stares at Priest and Kross logo appears on big screen.
– Pete Dunne at Backstage for an interview and Killian Dain returns and attacked Pete Dunne. They both started brawl and officials came out to separate them.
– Jake Atlas defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott via Pinfall. After the match, Jake Atlas offers shake hand but Scott ignores it and left the ring.
– Tommaso Ciampa somewhere at backstage and talks about his match against Timothy Thatcher at WarGames. He says his win against Thatcher is so easy and no one is safe from him. He addresses Cameron Grimes for their match tonight.
– The Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Ever-Rise and Imperium via Pinfall.
– Mitchell McKenzie at backstage with Toni Strom for interview and asks Toni about turning on Ember Moon before WarGames. Toni says Moon is at wrong place at wrong time and she made right decision as she won the WarGames with Team Candice. Toni says now she focused on title and NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai interrupts.
Shirai says she doesn’t have problem with Toni as she didn’t like her and attacks Toni Strom and brawl breaks out. They continued their brawl to the ring and Shirai tries to hit moonsault but Toni retreats to the floor. Then Ember Moon came out and attacked Toni Strom and sends her to steel steps. Then Moon throws Toni to the ring and Shirai hits moonsault and mocks Toni Strom.
– Tommaso Ciampa defeated Cameron Grimes via Pinfall. After the match, Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher stares eachother and Cimpa walks off. Then Grimes came to Thatcher and pulls him then he twisted Grimes ankle.
– McKenzie at backstage with Raquel Gonzalez for an interview. Raquel says WarGames is the biggest night for her and she continues to celebrate. Her win came at cost because Dakota Kai is injury by Moon and sitting at home. Tonight she Ember Moon will regret for getting back to NXT.
– NXT aired the video of Xia Li and Boa intense training with ShiFu master.
– The New NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Austin Theory and Indi Hartwell came to the ring. Johnny Gargano addresses his and Candice LeRae win at WarGames and says he had made the history by becoming the three time NXT North American Champion. Candice LeRae also led her team to the victory for second straight year and says that he is Mr. TakeOver and Candice is Mrs. WarGames.
Then Johnny Gargano says he had bought special gift to Candice and reveals it. It was a trophy with a baby doll head at the top, looks like Shotzi Blackheart’s head. Then he says he and Austin Theory will face Damian Priest and Leon Ruff next week and the result would be also same.
Then Damian Priest interrupts and threatens Johnny but suddenly from behind Karrion Kross attacked Priest and made his return. He took out Priest and laid near production area and left I’m car with Scarlett.
– Pete Dunne defeated Killian Dain via Pinfall.
– McKenzie interviewing Leon Ruff at backstage and asks of Damian Priest os ready to team with him. Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory walks up to him and says Priest is hurt by Kross and it would be 2on1 handicap match next week. Then Kushida interrupts and says he will team up with Ruff next week admnd stares at Johnny Gargano and Theory.
– Raquel Gonzalez defeated Ember Moon via Pinfall. After the match, Toni Strom came out and tried to attack Moon. Then music interrupts and Rhea Ripley came out and Toni shook. Rhea grabs Ember Moon and gets into the ring. Both Raquel Gonzalez and Rhea Ripley stares eachother and NXT goes off air.
