Tonight’s Monday Night Raw is live from WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. Tom Philips welcomes us and joined by Samoa Joe and Byron Saxton at ringside.
Here The Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– Tonight’s show opened with special Christmas edition of The Dirt Sheet and The Miz sits in the ring for “Nightmare Before TLC” with book of same name. He starts reading the story of WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and his TLC opponent AJ Styles. Miz mentions AJ Styles names and he appears with Omos standing at ringside.
Then he mentions Drew Mcintyre’s name, he didn’t show up but John Morrison appeared, dressed like Braveheart-themed version of Drew McIntyre. Miz continues to read the story, AJ and Morrison put the comedy skit. AJ Styles stabs McIntyre with sword and climbs ladder to win the dethrone the champion, as reading of Miz.
Then, Miz also continues the story reading that Miz cashing-in on AJ Styles to win the title but AJ isn’t happy with it. AJ stares at Miz and says this isn’t the ending but Miz says he changed it to look better. Then, Sheamus interrupts them and says he’s prepared for the fight with AJ Styles and no matter how much they run their mouth and play with their swords. Styles throws Christmas tree to Sheamus and joins Omos at ringside. Then Sheamus grabs a gift and throws towards Styles, knocking AJ down.
– Sarah Schreiber at backstage with Hurt Business and asks MVP about his match against Riddle tonight. Then, MVP says he’s going to teach Riddle about respect and now, he’s is going to teach her about journalism. MVP says she should have asked about unstoppable team of Lashley, Benjamin and Cedric, who will face New Day amd Jeff Hardy next.
– Jeff Hardy and New Day at Backstage and Riddle comes near them. Riddle says he has an idea, everyone misses Big E and tonight he will stand at their corner as Bro E. Jeff Hardy says he’s going to let “The Hardy Bros” be a thing with Riddle tonight.
– Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander defeated Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Jeff Hardy via Submission.
– Asuka and Lana at Backstage and Lana feels like they gonna win Tag Team Titles but she is scared tonight facing Nia Jax. Asuka motivates her ans says she is the bravest person to face Nia Jax.
– Lana defeated Nia Jax via Pinfall. After the match, Shayna Baszler attacked Asuka at Backstage and Nia Jax attacked Lana in the ring. Baszler came out to join Nia and they both talking on Lana. They hurt the Lana’s leg and Asuka came out to save and took out Tag Team Champions and checks on Lana.
– Elias in the ring with Jaxson Ryker. Elias address he loss against Jeff Hardy in Symphony of Destruction match and says it would have destroyed an ordinary man but he’s extraordinary Elias. Elias says he had visions for his purpose, visions for Ryker. Then, Ryker says Elias music had changed him and he was re-bron with Universal Truth.
Ryker says Elias is a visionary and he always interrupted and attacked but he is here to stop that. Elias says he wants to demonstrate healing power of his music and he wants to dedicate this performance to Lana, who was attacked by Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
Elias starts to play guitar but R-Truth interrupts him. Truth says he wasn’t here to interrupt but he wants to apologise for interrupting him on last week’s Main Event. Then Elias starts to play again but other superstars came to chasing R-Truth for title and brawl break out at ringside. Ryker attacked Gran Metalik and Akira Tozawa and Truth runs away with title.
– The Miz and John Morrison at Backstage and Miz says he isn’t happy for Styles telling him to cash-in, so he cane easily win on Miz. Keith Lee walks up and says he has an idea. He has coin and proposes coin toss, Miz call heads and it lands on heads. Lee congratulated them for winning but that’s all they’re going to win and walks off.
– The Miz and John Morrison defeated Keith Lee via Pinfall in 2-on-1 handicap match. After the match, Miz and John Morrison celebrates but Lee looks in frustration.
– Bray Wyatt cames out for field trip from Firefly Fun House to WWE ThunderDome. Bray Wyatt’s puppets Mercy The Buzzard, Huskus The Pig, Rumbling Rabbit at ringside barrier and Wyatt waves hands to them. Wyatt says before going to fun staff, he has an apology to make and says sorry to Randy Orton.
Wyatt says last week they having time for their lives and things get out of their had leading one to another and now look at them. Wyatt feels one big misunderstanding done this because he sometimes he is sad, sick, deranged and twisted out of mind and Wyatt laughs.
Wyatt says he and Orton had something to fix and hopes they will get chance to fix it. Bray says Orton faces ‘Him’ this Sunday and he don’t know what will be left of Orton. There will be no fun and games at TLC but just sadness and pain. Bray Wyatt then makes jokes about Randy Orton and Orton interrupts them.
Orton says last week after putting down Wyatt with RKO, something has changed, Wyatt had changed and The Fiend appeared. Orton says Wyatt loves to play games and he can’t help himself, so he thinks Wyatt can extend his field trip to find him out. Orton says it’s like playing hide and seek game. Wyatt laughs and says he accepts and Orton says come and find him. Let the game begin, Wyatt yells.
– Mace defeated Ricochet via Pinfall. After the match, RETRIBUTION hits the ring and holds Ricochet, Ali yells at Ricochet and says it won’t end until he says it end and until he joins the RETRIBUTION.
– Bray Wyatt at backstage searching for Randy Orton and walks up to Riddle. Wyatt asks Riddle that he had seen Randy Orton. Riddle says he hasn’t seen Orton but he had seen future and the future is Bro-nouns. Riddle shows his business plan written on white board but Wyatt says he is little busy and wishes him good luck.
Then Rambling Rabbit appears behind of Riddle, Riddle says by seeing it he reminds of Baby Yoda, so he’s going to call it as Baby Bro-da. Then Riddle talks about his pet rabbit named skipper at home and offers a carrot and gave marker for the autograph.
– Dana Brooke defeated Shayna Baszler via disqualification. During the match, Nia Jax attacked Dana Brooke and continued it after the match. Then, Mandy Rose make her return and attacked Baszler with Kendo Stick. Then Nia and Baszler double teamed on Rose but Asuka came out and took out Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
– R-Truth talking with Huskus The Pig at Backstage and Bray Wyatt appears and warned it to not talk with strangers. R-Truth says Huskus to listen to his father, and asks Wyatt is it your son but Wyatt yells “Hide and Seek” and runs away.
– Bray Wyatt looking for Randy Orton at backstage and he saw a chair in the drak room. He went into the room and sits in the chair but from behind Randy Orton attacks Bray Wyatt and unloaded on him. Orton puts Wyatt into a box and lit it to fire. But suddenly The Fiend came out of the box and attacked Randy Orton and puts Mandible Claw to put down Orton.
– Riddle defeated MVP via Pinfall. After the match, Bobby Lashley came out to the ring and Riddle retreats to the floor with his donuts box.
– It’s time for Ascension Ceremony and Tom Philips hypes the WWE Title at TLC pay-per-view. He says tonight both the superstars join them to raise the title above the ring. He welcomes AJ Styles first followed by Drew McIntyre. AJ Styles says he is going to face Drew McIntyre for the first time and let’s go to the deep dive into McIntyre.
AJ Styles says it was shocking that he took 19 years to win the WWE Title and taunts him for his recent loss to Randy Orton but he regained his title again. AJ mentions that he defended his title at TLC once and he knows how it be a champion. He takes every table, ladder and chair to break on Drew’s back to get the title back and tells McIntyre to kiss his title for the last time.
Drew says he always wanted to have match against AJ Styles. He admits that he never been in TLC match but he was the Champion all the year and had no pressure to defend it and he will tear apart of AJ Styles at TLC. Then, Drew launches his title to the holder and it raised above the ring.
AJ asks what if he’s not facing him at TLC this Sunday and suddenly Miz and John Morrison attacks Drew McIntyre. But Drew fights back and took out everyone and tosses ladder to AJ Styles. Omos distracted Drew McIntyre and AJ takes advantage and hits the cheap shot. Then AJ puts McIntyre on the table and climbes the ladder to hit a splash on him. The he climbed the ladder to retrieve the WWE Title and Raw goes off air.
