Tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown is live from New WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida and Michael Cole welcomes us and joined by Corey Graves at ringside.
Here The Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks comes out and Adam Pearce in the ring for the contract signing for her match against Carmella at TLC PPV. Then Adam Pearce going to introduce Carmella but Banks stops it and asks where is the contract.
Carmella appears on big screen with contract and says here things will work like how she wants to be and says she signed the contract. She sent a messenger boy to hand contract to Sasha Banks. Banks and Carmella had some words exchange and Banks says if Carmella wants title then come and get it.
Adam Pearce says it sounds like good and announced that Carmella will face Sasha Banks in main event tonight. The messanger boy came in and hands contract to Sasha Banks. Banks says she gonna see what will happen tonight and slaps messanger boy and attacks him.
– Kayla Braxton at backstage with Street Profits for interview. Montez Ford cuts a promo about his match against Dolph Ziggler and Angelo Dawkins says Roode might get involved in match and get slapped.
– Dolph Ziggler defeated Montez Ford via Pinfall.
– WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zyan at backstage ranting at merchandise guy and he isn’t happy for Big E getting a new sporting T-shirt and he didn’t get one. Then Big E comes in and calls Apollo Crews to bring new t-shirt they have created for Sami Zyan and it’s a joke. Sami Zyan was upset and left.
– Sami Zyan defeated Big E via Count Out.
– Bayley at Backstage and sends her wishes to Carmella for her Smackdown Women’s Championship match against Sasha Banks. Bayley says Banks maybe the champ but she still runs the Women’s division and rants that Banks is most overpaid and overrated superstar. Then she addresses Bianca Belair who was standing her back. Both confronted eachother and Belair shows some receipts that Belair is doing better than Bayley but Bayley walks off.
– Carmella at backstage and cuts a promo about her Smackdown Women’s Title match and says she gonna beat disrespect out of her. She says her messenger guy to set her champagne at ringside.
– Kevin Owens comes out to the ring and throwing Chairs, Ladders and Tables into the ring and Roman Reigns watching it from the Backstage. Owens says he doesn’t fear of Roman and Roman is fighting for his family but he’s family is fighting for him. Owens says Reigns is using his family to fight his battles.
Owens says their match at TLC is important to his career and Roman will get all the help he wanted at TLC ppv. Owens fights for his family but his family isn’t part of industry but they keep him supporting by watching from home. But he has few friends to him and that are Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
Owens standing at top of ladder and says at TLC he will climb this ladder to become the Universal Champion. But suddenly from behind Jey Uso attacked Kevin Owens with steel chair and unloading on him. Jey puts Owens on table and goes to top of the rope but Owens recovers and hits Jey with chair. And puts Uso to through the table with pop up power bomb.
Then Roman Reigns came out with Paul Heyman watching them from the entrance. Owens ready for fight in the ring but Paul Heyman remainds Roman that he calls the shots and it’s his ring and he does things on his time. Roman walks back to backstage and Owens leaves the ring to follow Roman Reigns.
Kevin Owens at Backstage searching for Reigns and Kayla asks comments. Owens yelling about Reigns and Jey Uso but from behind Roman Reigns hits Kevin Owens with Steel Chair and sent him to some fencing. Roman unloading on Kevin and talking some trash. He also sent a message to Kevin Owens family and kicks to Owens head and says good night.
– The Riott Squad defeated Billie Kay and Natalya via Pinfall.
– Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Otis and Chad Gable via Pinfall.
– Otis and Chad Gable at Backstage and Gable says tonight was a learning a lesson. He says he didn’t want to Otis to tag really and Otis had the match before he tag in. Gable says tonight is test but he failed and that’s ok. He’s is teaching Otis a lesson by showing him what not to do in the ring and says Otis to dehydrate and he will explain him more about it later.
– King Corbin, Steve Culter and Wesley Blake at Backstage and Alyse Aston came near them for comments on his match last week. Corbin praises Culter and Black for helping him out last week and says these boys are like Knights of Lone Wolf. Corbin says of Rey wants to step up, it’s fine, he can have his dopey son and Murphy but there will be more consequences.
– Carmella defeated Sasha Banks via disqualification in Smackdown Women’s Title Match but Sasha Banks retains her title. After the match, Carmella’s messenger boy grabs Banks from behind but Banks hits him and applies submission move. Carmella came in and attacks Sasha and yells at her. Both superstars are near announcers table and Carmella puts Banks face in ice bucket and breaks champagne bottle on Sasha’s lower back. Then Carmella dances at ringside area and Smackdown goes off air.
