Tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. WWE announced that Kevin Owens and Otis will take on Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in main event.

– Tonight’s show opened with entire roster standing on the stage to pay tribute to the WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson, who passed away at the age of 79 this past Wednesday. Cole asks everyone to stand in silence for ten-bell salute. After the salute “Thank You Pat” chant breaks out.

– Kayla Braxton in the ring for an interview and talks about tonight’s tag team main event. She introduced her guests Roman Reigns, he come out along with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. Kayla asks Roman Reigns about his comments on Jey Uso last week and how he became commanding figure in WWE ThunderDome.

Roman Reigns says Kayla is on the part of biggest thing she ever had in her career and she asks this stupid questions. Reigns says Cole could have done this but they let her to talk and she blows it. Then Kayla asks is Reigns possibly using Jey Uso as pawn and manipulating him. Then Reigns says those are stupid words for stupid people. He praises Jey Uso and mentions how they’ve gave opportunities to Kayla and says Heyman to handle this amateur.

Then Heyman says Jey Uso helped to boost the ratings by main eventing from past few weeks because of Reigns given opportunities to him. Then Kevin Owens interrupts them and says they don’t fear eachother and asks to fight now. Then Jey says they run the show and accepts his challenge. But Owens says he is not talking to bus boy, he’s talking to head of the table. 

Owens says of not now, they have TLC with some Tables, Ladder and Chairs and Roman can put his title on line and so they can settle like men. Reigns says Owens wants to fight because it’s good for his career and to be in the island of relevancy. Reigns says he and his cousin will not fear anyone and accepts the challenge. 

Reigns says there is place and time for everything but not right now and says he’s a gentleman and there is a lady in the room and left the ring.

– Natalya defeated Bayley via Submission. 

– Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio and Big E defeated Sami Zyan, Dolph Ziggler and Shinsuke Nakamura via Pinfall in Pat Patterson Tribute Match. After the match, both teammate brawled in the ring.

– Kayla Braxton at backstage with Kevin Owens at Backstage and asks him about his match at TLC with Roman Reigns. He says he used to respect Reigns before, now it’s matter to him but something changed and it’s despicable. Otis comes up and they got hyped up about their match tonight.

– Carmella and Sasha Banks sat for an interview from different places at Backstage. Both had war of words and Carmella says she is going to take title from Sasha Banks and Banks says Carmella never been in the ring like her. 

– King Corbin defeated Murphy via Pinfall. During the match, The former members of Forgotten Sons, Steve Culter and Wesley Blake appeared at ringside and had brawl with Rey Mysterio and Dominik. Then Murphy went to help Mysterios and Corbin took the advantage and hits end of days for the victory.

– The Smackdown Tag Team Champions Street Profits hypes the main event of tonight’s show and they got interrupted by Cesaro and Robert Roode. And they had verbal exchange at backstage.

– Otis and Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns and Jey Uso via disqualification. At the start, Roman Reigns didn’t show up and Jey Uso battled alone in the match and later Reigns joined him. At the end, Jey Uso was legal and Owens hits stunner for the pin but Reigns breaks it and applied Guillotine lock and Owens fades out, referee call the bell for disqualification.

After the match, Reigns breaks the submission lock and looks at Jey Uso. Jey brought the steel chairs from the ringside and hands one to Roman and both took out Owens. Roman then said Jey to finish him and Jey hits big top rope splash and Roman Reigns attacked Jey Uso with steel chair and put him down and stands tall with Universal Title.
