AJ Styles Revealed The Interesting Fact About His Match With John Cena At Royal Rumble 2017
The Phenomenal One AJ Styles recently appeared as guest on WWE’s The Bump and discussed several topics. He also spoke about his match against John Cena which he considered as best one and revealed a interesting note.
AJ Styles faced John Cena in 2017 Royal Rumble event with his WWE Title on line. That was a epic 24-minute match up which was won by John Cena to win the WWE Title and tied the Ric Flair’s record of 16 World Title reigns.
During the show, AJ said that it was one of his best match and revealed that they never left the ring during the entire match, which is not really heard this days.
Here what AJ Styles said: “I think about this match with John Cena, and I would say, out of all the matches I’ve had, this was the best one. A lot of people don’t know this, but we never left the ring in this match. We never went outside of the ring; it was all in the ring, which is not really heard of these days. I’m really proud of that match.”
The former WWE Champion AJ Styles also spoke about his face off against Edge in last year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, in which Rated-R Superstar made his return after nine years.
Here what AJ Styles said: “I think I was definitely outdone by freakin Edge. Man, it was awesome. Standing in that ring and waiting for him to make his entrance was pretty unbelievable.
