Chad Gable Provides Update About Jason Jordan In-Ring Future
The former tag team champion Jason Jordon had suffered a neck injury in 2018 and had a successful neck surgery. But he didn’t had a single match on WWE TV as he wasn’t cleared to wrestle again and working as WWE producer at backstage.
On the recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Chad Gable provided an update about Jason Jordan in-ring career. Previously, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable worked together as tag team with name of American Alpha and also close friends in real-life.
During the show, Gable said that it was unfortunate injury and Jason is trying hard to make in-ring return. Gable also teased the reunion of American Alpha if he return to ring.
“Speaking from a personal standpoint, he became one of my best friends throughout the [WWE] process and still is. It’s unfortunate what happened to him with his injury, but you never say never. He’s working on it, he’s trying to get back. And who knows, a reunion is always something I would never be against.” (H/T: Sportskeeda)
Jason Jordan wrestled his last match at 2018 Royal Rumble, in which he and Seth Rollins lost their Raw Tag Team Titles to Cesaro and Sheamus.
