Finn Balor Names NXT Superstar Whom He Wants To Face At WrestleMania 37
WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor recently had an interview with Rick Ucchino of Sportskeeda and answered many questions including his pick to face him WrestleMania 37 for NXT Title.
During the interview, The Prince of NXT was asked to pick one superstar to win Royal Rumble and then challenge him for NXT Championship at Shows of Shows WrestleMaina 37. Then, he choose Karrion Kross and says he deserves a title shot as they both gone through the same phase.
Karrion Kross had relinquished his NXT Title few days after winning it due to shoulder injury. Finn Balor also faced the same thing when he became the first-ever Universal Champion. Balor knows how it feels and understands Kross situation.
“But with regards to someone to win and face Finn Balor for the NXT Championship, you know, obviously, the big choice would be Karrion Kross. I feel like he deserves a title shot. You know, obviously, I have gone through what he has gone through in the past. I sympathize and have empath with his situation.”
The current NXT Champion also revealed that he would love to face former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne who had proven himself his worth and steadily rising up in black and gold brand.
“Someone who I would love to be in the ring with, who has proven himself, you know, countless times over the years is Pete Dunne, and someone who is on a steady upward climb in NXT and that’s someone who I would love to face.” (H/T: Sportskeeda)
