Finn Balor Recalls His Match Against Brock Lesnar, Says It’s A Unique Experience
WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor recently had an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda and spoke about his match with Brock Lesnar at 2019 Royal Rumble. He said that it was great night and completely different experience with The Beast.
It’s been two years The Beast Incarnate and Finn Balor battled for Universal Champion. The Prince said that he just remembered his entrance and completely lost about what happen around him in that moment. He mentioned that he felt like ‘living in Brock Lesnar’s World’.
Here’s what Finn Balor said about his match against Brock Lesnar:
“That was a great night. Obviously Brock’s reputation proceeds himself. It’s very rare that you get feeling that he brings into the arena. The one thing I remember is that, you know, I’ve done my entrance, his music hits, he gets in the ring and it’s not an act and it’s not playtime. It’s very, very serious and it’s life or death.”
“And it’s a moment where you feel completely lost in what’s happening around you. You’re not acting, you’re not pretending, you’re not performing, you’re living in this moment. And you’re living in Brock Lesnar’s a world. It was that it was a very, very rare moment where you’re fully absorbed in what’s happening in the ring.” (H/T: Sportskeeda)
The Prince Finn Balor is the first-ever Universal Champion but unfortunately he relinquished the title within less than 24 hours after winning it due to injury. He only got two title opportunities, in which he unable to regain it back and later he was moved back to NXT.
Now, Finn Balor is the NXT Champion and he successfully defended his title this week at NXT New Year’s Evil against Kyle O’Reilly.
