WWE Raw Superstar AJ Styles recently appeared as guest on WWE’s The Bump and spoke about numerous topics. He also shared his honest thoughts on Shinsuke Nakamura.

The King of Strong Styles Shinsuke Nakamura recently had an impressive Gauntlet Match on Smackdown to determine #1 contender for Universal Champion. But at the end, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso ‘s interference cost his title opportunity after his spectacular performance.

During the WWE’s The Bump, AJ Styles was asked about Shinsuke Nakamura’s performance on Smackdown in Gauntlet Match and his thoughts on Nakamura being a future Universal Champion in future. Then, AJ Styles said that Nakamura is more than capable of winning WWE Universal Champion.

Here what AJ Styles said about Shinsuke Nakamura: “Listen, he’s more than capable of doing what needs to be done to be the Universal Champion. I know him and I know him well. The guy can get after it. There’s no doubt that this guy is legit. He’s not just some guy from Japan. He’s more than just that. He’s Shinsuke Nakamura. He’s unbelievable and he’s been unbelievable wherever he’s been, so like I said, he’s more than capable of being the WWE Universal Champion.” (H/T: SK Wrestling)

Nakamura entered third in Gauntlet Match and eliminated Rey Mysterio, King Corbin and Daniel Bryan. Then, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso attacked Nakamura and handed victory to WWE producer Adam Pearce.
