Many WWE Superstars Reportedly Turn Down New Contract Offers

WWE always wants their talent to stick with them with long term contracts but due to pandemic, WWE had made several budget cuts including releasing several superstars and employees.
According to the Fightful Select reports, it was revealed that several contract offers of mid-2020 were ‘disappointing’ to talent compared to the offers that made in 2019.
In 2019, WWE offered massive contracts to lot of superstars to retain their services but now, pandemic had changed WWE’s directions. People close to this situation revealed that WWE is not in thoughts of accumulate talent anymore due to pandemic effect.
The new contracts offered by the company have not met the 2019 standards or didn’t met the expectations of superstars. This report also states that “at least half a dozen” talent “shuffled their feet” or outrightly passed on the new deals that were offered.
Fightful spoke to some talent and they revealed that they were waiting for the situation to get better before signing new deals. The names of the talent who reportedly refused to sign the new contracts didn’t revealed but it was also added that soon some names will be released.
It was also noted that Superstars from the both Raw and Smackdown are looking to work out better contracts.
