Reported Reason Why WWE Revealing Surprise Entrants Ahead Of Royal Rumble 2021 PPV
WWE Royal Rumble is taking place on January 31st and winner of the match will earn WWE or Universal Title shot at WrestleMania 37. One of the best part of the match is surprise entrance of WWE Superstars like Edge’s return on last year’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
But these year WWE is taking different approach and announcing the superstars entry into the match before the pay-per-view. Recently on Raw, Edge also announced his entrance into WWE Royal Rumble Match and every one was eager to know the why WWE is announcing prior to the show?
According to the Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE decided to reveal the Edge’s entry into Royal Rumble Match because of there is no live crowd for the event this Sunday. If fans are allowed to the arena, then, WWE would have kept the surprise entrants as a secret.
WWE feels that announcing surprise entrants before the pay-per-view would help to create more buzz and bring some more lapsed fans with the Edge coming back to the WWE.
Not only Edge’s return, WWE also will announce 30th entrant of Men’s Royal Rumble match and #1 and #2 entrant of Women’s Royal Rumble Match on the returning WWE Backstage show this Saturday at 8pm EST on FS1.
Who will be the 30th entrant in the Men’s #RoyalRumble and the #1 & #2 entrants in the Women’s Rumble? Find out exclusively on #WWEBackstage!
