“That’s A Dream Match” – Drew McIntyre On His Match Aganist GoldBerg At WWE Royal Rumble 2021
At Raw Legends Night, GoldBerg made a surprise appearance and challenged Drew McIntyre for his WWE Title at Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Following episode of Raw, Drew McIntyre accepted Goldberg’s challenge and it’s official for Drew Mcintyre vs. GoldBerg at WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
In a recent interview on The Arash Markazi Show, Drew McIntyre spoke about his upcoming match with GoldBerg. He said that he was used to play against GoldBerg in video game and now that dream match is happening in real life.
“Yeah, that’s a dream match I played in a game when I was 13 and I created myself in Create-A-Wrestler and fought Goldberg and now it’s happening in real life. So yeah, it’s pretty surreal for me. I was such a huge fan.”
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre also spoke about his segment with GoldBerg at Raw Legends Night and says he wants that 100% fired up GoldBerg for their match at Royal Rumble.
“[Goldberg] shoved me to the ground. The force behind that shove, the crazy look in his eyes; I was like, “That’s Goldberg.” I got back up, I said right now I’m ready for him and I let them know and that’s the Goldberg I want. I want 100% Goldberg. I know he’s still in there. I want him to bring his best because I want that Goldberg match.” (H/T: SK Wrestling)
