Triple H Compares Top NXT Superstar To Brock Lesnar
The NXT Boss Triple H recently appeared as guest on WWE’s The Bump and discussed about several topics. He also spoke about the NXT UK Champion Walter and compared him with Brock Lesnar for his dominance in the ring, which looks similar to The Beast.
During The Bump, Evan T. Mack asked The Game about his thoughts on upcoming NXT UK Championship between the Walter and A-Kid. Then, he praised Walter as physically dominating performer like Brock Lesnar.
Here’s what Triple H said about Walter: “One of the most physically imposing, one of the most physically dominating performers out there. There is no wasted movement, he is not flashy. He doesn’t care about how it looks, he’s just effective. That said, you’ve seen it in the past with talent like Brock Lesnar.”
Triple H also stressed that Brock Lesnar had struggled lot of times against smaller guys and recalled the ‘The Beast Incarnate’ match against Daniel Bryan, in which he had difficult time to strike hard and fast.
“Brock struggled a lot of times more with small guys. Speed kills! You would watch Brock Lesnar sometimes step in the ring with Daniel Bryan and have a much more difficult time.”
“Daniel Bryan would get much more in because Brock couldn’t strike as hard and as fast. He had to catch him first, and he had to find his way. In that process, he ate a lot of shots to get one in,”
Then, Triple H mentioned that if The “Ring General” Walter can handle the speed of A-Kid, it would be a hard battle for the NXT UK Title challenger.
“WALTER just has to sustain that. If he can walk through the speed of A-Kid, if he can walk through that fast, repetitive onslaught then it’ll be tough and a long night for A-Kid. I will bank on WALTER, but A-Kid has got a good shot at it.”
After winning the NXT UK Championship at NXT: TakeOver by defeating Pete Dunne back in April 2019, Walter has been carrying title for 643 days by defending it successfully in many occasions and produced outstanding matches. It isn’t a easy challenge for A-Kid, he will definitely have some tough time in the ring.
