Tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. Michael Cole welcomes us and joined by Corey Graves at ringside.

– Tonight’s show opened with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman making their entrance towards ring. Roman Reigns talks about last week Adam Pearce outsmarting them and taunts Pearce for getting out of the match. Then, Adam Pearce came out and says he’s gone too far.

Reigns says what Pearce done is too far by getting Kevin Owens back to title picture and working in-favour for Owens. Paul Heyman laughs at Pearce, then, Pearce says he can’t anything physical for Reigns but he’s not the hell take it from Paul Heyman. 

Then, Heyman taunts Adam Pearce and rants about history of Roman Reigns family, which makes him man. And proposes a match between him and Adam Pearce tonight. Adam Pearce accepts the Paul Heyman Challenge and it’s official for tonight Adam Pearce vs. Paul Heyman. Heyman shakes the hands with Adam Pearce and exits the ring.

– Sami Zyan appears on ramp with his documentary crew and has sign board that has #JusticeForSami. He hand-cuffed himself to barrier and says he won’t leave the arena. And rants about last week’s loss and not making into Royal Rumble 2021 match.

– Asuka and Charlotte Flair defeated Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan via Pinfall. During the match, Billie Kay tries to help Riott Squad and distracted the referee but it was back fired. 

– At Backstage, Billie Kay is apologizing Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan for costing their match. Billie says she talked with Sonya Deville and got them spots in Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Riott says the squad has been better when it was just two of them and walks off.

– Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring and spoke about Royal Rumble Match that will happen later this month. Cesaro interrupts him and had some words exchange between them. Then, Bryan proposes match between them but Cesaro says he tired of proving himself against him week after week. Cesaro issues open challenge as Bryan is not dressed for Wrestling. Then, Dolph Ziggler came out and accepts Cesaro’s Challenge.

– Cesaro defeated Dolph Ziggler via Pinfall. After the match, Cesaro taunts Daniel Bryan, who is on commentary desk.

– Sasha Banks defeated Reginald via Submission. After the match, Banks throws Reginald towards Carmella, who is sitting at ringside and taunts her.

– Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman at Backstage. Heyman says Reigns is so good in the ring and knows what he wanted to do and Pearce fell into it. Reigns says he handed mic to Heyman to rip Pearce with words but not to Challenge for a match. Now, Heyman has to go and fight Adam Pearce and prove that Reigns picked a man. Heyman was shocked as he wants to fight Pearce. 

– Apollo Crews defeated Big E by disqualification but Big E is still Intercontinental Champion. During the match, Sami Zyan un-cuffed him and attacks Apollo Crews with Helluva Kick to cause DQ. After the match, Sami Zyan also kicks Big E and rants that this how champion looks like. He then went near documentary crew and says the justice has served.

– Michael Cole annouces that Universal Champion Roman Reigns has left the arena and Kevin Owens isn’t also in the building but sent a pre-recorded message. Kevin Owens says he’s here to work but Reigns made him to keep out of building. Owens says it’s okay but at Royal Rumble there is nobody will stop him and he will be the Last Man Standing.

– The former Smackdown Tag Team Champions Street Profits at backstage with fruit basket and they saw Dolph Ziggler having chat with Sonya Deville and left. Street Profits went near Deville and congratulated for her new role. Angelo Dawkins says it’s been two weeks they have lost their titles and now they are ready for rematch. Sonya says Montez Ford is still recovering for his injury until then they can funny Backstage segments. And let other tag teams get the chance and when they’re fully recovered, they can back on the game. Dawkins hands fruit basket to Deville and she left.

– Everything is set for Ultimate Athlete Obstacle course Challenge and Micheal Cole introduces Bianca Belair and Bayley. Bayley grabs the mic from Cole and explains how the Challenge will go on and she will do it first. She completed the Challenge in 1.12 minutes. Then, Belair completes the Challenge with 17 seconds left. Bayley isn’t happy with it and attacked Bianca Belair and throws her into basketball Stand.

– Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio at Backstage. Dominik says he knows what to do in the ring with King Corbin and Rey Mysterio giving him pep talk. Rey says this we doing it in Dominik’s way but if it fails we do it on my way. Dominik agrees and says he got this.

– King Corbin defeated Dominik Mysterio via Pinfall.

Adam Pearce alredy in the ring and then, Paul Heyman came out. He tries to get into the ring but it seems like he’s leg is hurt. Heyman says there’s always card subjected to change and here out comes Roman Reigns. Reigns enters the ring and directly hits Adam Pearce with Superman punch and attacks him in the ring. Reigns continued the attack at ringside and throws him through the barrier.

Then, Reigns took Pearce towards screens of Thunderdome but from behind a hoodied person attacked Roman Reigns and it was Kevin Owens. Owens get the upper hand and hits stunner in the ring. Brawl continued at ringside and officials came to separate them. Owens again hits stunner and puts Roman through annouce table with pop-up powerbomb. He again tries to hit Reigns with steel steps but referees stops him, Owens went near Reigns and yells at him and Smackdown goes off air.
