WWE Raw Superstar Angel Garza recently had an interview with Vicente Beltran of ViBe & Wrestling and spoke about several topics including about current Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar. Garza had huge praise for Escobar for his recent work as champion and very impressed by him.
Here what Garza said about Santos Escobar:
“He is doing a very good job, I think he is being a very decent champion. Every Superstar has his own formula to succeed. He is doing things his way and I like it. He is being a good Cruiserweight Champion.”
Escobar is a part of Legado Del Fantasma stable along with Raul Mendoza an Joaquin Wilde and lead it to dominant faction. Since winning Cruiserweight championship, Escobar had many successful title defences.
Santos Escobar also recently engaged in feud with Karrion Kross and they both had a brutal no disqualification match on this week’s NXT, which was won by Karrion Kross.
Angel Garza also training hard everyday and looking to make a big statement ahead of WrestleMania to get the spot at Show of Shows.
“Day by day, Monday by Monday, that is why we are training for. From the moment WrestleMania 36 was over, we start training hard and looking forward to the next WrestleMania. We wrestle every single Monday to get that spot, to get an opportunity and, if is not the Tag Titles like last year, for sure there will be other opportunities. WrestleMania will be a 2 night event so hopefully I can get a slot, I can get a match in one of those nights. Every Monday we work hard so we can get a match at WrestleMania.”
