The Empress of Tomorrow Asuka was the most dominant Raw Women’s Championship and defended her title successfully on many occasions. Recently, she also won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles along with Charlotte Flair at WWE TLC PPV by defeating Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
But Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler won them back at kick-off of Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Asuka was actually set to defend her Raw Women’s Title against Lacey Evans at Elimination Chamber 2021 PPV but it was cancelled due to Evans getting pregnant.
Now, it was reported that Asuka’s former tag team partner Charlotte Flair might challenge her at WrestleMania 37. According to the Cagesideseats, Charlotte Flair accidentally hitting Asuka on Raw might be the start of setting up of their feud that will lead to match between them at WrestleMania 37.
“It’s believed the post-match angle between Charlotte Flair and Asuka from Monday’s Raw is setting up a feud between the two for WrestleMania 37, but may not have come off as planned because of Asuka losing a tooth during their loss to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.”
