Kevin Owens Talks About Botched Ending Of His Universal Title Match Against Roman Reigns At Royal Rumble 2021

The Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens had brutal match at Royal Rumble 2021 pay-per-view in Last Man Standing Match. Both the superstars went too far in the match and did a great job to entertain fans but the ending of the match wasn’t go as planned.
The spot involving Roman Reigns hand-cuffed had went wrong and cuffs didn’t unlock at the right time. This led to big confusion and referee even stopped counting, Kevin Owens also went off the script and gave more time to Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman when they are trying to uncuff.
The Prizefighter Kevin Owens recently spoke about this match ended in an interview with Jake Asman. He said that Roman used different strategies during the match but at the end he turned his own trick on Reigns but referee screwed-up which leads him to come out without Universal Title.
Here what Kevin Owens said: ”He went a different route and tried to throw me off high things and hit me with vehicles. Different strategies. Towards the end, I turned his own trick on him. He brought handcuffs, I handcuffed him to something and I thought I had him, I really did have him. Some screw-ups from the referees and here I am, sitting in my car without the Universal Championship. It goes to show, no matter how prepared you are for a match in WWE, you never know how it’s going to go.”
After his loss to Tribal Chief Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble pay-per-view, everyone thought that their rivalry would end but on Royal Rumble fallout episode of Smackdown Owens attacked Roman Reigns and hits a stunner. Let’s see will Owens get another shot at Roman Reigns or not.
